Despite the language barrier, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and felt welcomed throughout our stay. As for breakfast choices, it would have been better if they offered a buffet-style option, to avoid waiting and have more variety.

The location of this rural house is quite convenient for travelers going to or coming from Bilbao or Santander. It offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a good night's sleep. the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. the staff is welcoming and ensures that guests feel at home. the breakfast served, though at an extra cost, consists of delicious homemade cake, jam, and excellent coffee.

The room at Casa Rural El Meson was absolutely lovely. It had a beautiful balcony with a stunning mountain view, which made me feel so peaceful and relaxed during my stay. The tiled floors were also a nice touch, adding a touch of charm to the room. And the private bathroom had everything I needed, including a refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries. it was a cozy and comfortable room that made me feel right at home.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the fact that the balcony was part of the room. But hey, that's just me.

Our stay at Casa Rural El Meson was superb! The owner's attention to detail was exceptional. We were impressed by the cleanliness and style of our room, and the WiFi connection was excellent. Despite a minor noise issue from the adjoining rooms, we slept very well on the plush and comfortable mattress. The breakfast, although slightly disappointing compared to previous reviews, still offered freshly pressed orange juice and decent coffee. The personal touches throughout the hotel added a nice touch. Parking was convenient, and the location in the heart of La Rioja was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend Casa Rural El Meson for a wonderful stay in Rioja.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They understood all of my questions, even though I didn't speak much Spanish. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was beautiful and charming. The location was perfect, as it allowed me to explore the stunning La Rioja region. Additionally, the breakfast offered excellent value, with homemade cake and jam, as well as fantastic coffee. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to come back.

Stayed at a lovely guest house in the middle of La Rioja. the room was clean, spacious, and had beautiful plants outside. the owners provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice and local cheeses and hams. the house is conveniently located near the train station and the old town, making it easy to explore the area. a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Casa Rural El Meson Guest House. Cons: Nothing, all was good! 👍.
